Senior Corporate Counsel

Position Responsibilities Develop, negotiate and review contracts, including customer and vendor agreements, commercial and industrial real estate purchase / sale contracts and leases and third-party service agreements. Assist outside counsel in representing Uline and its owners in litigation, agency actions and other disputes. Oversee corporate counsel and / or legal staff as assigned by General Counsel. Conduct research, prepare documents and provide legal advice regarding human resources issues, such as immigration, employment law, benefits and workers' compensation issues. Conduct research, prepare documents and provide legal advice regarding a variety of other legal issues in response to requests from company managers and owners. Interpret laws, rulings and regulations to determine applicability to Uline's business. Assist in investigating and conferring with colleagues to evaluate legal and compliance risks and determine how to address them. Participate in functional leadership and project teams as appropriate based on skills and experience. Provide training to company managers and employees as appropriate based on skills and experience. Minimum Requirements Jurist Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school. At least 7
years of experience in a law firm or corporate setting. Civil litigation, business negotiations, risk management and compliance experience a plus. Licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin or eligible for admission as in-house counsel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. $200K -- $250K
